| 串联电抗器的作用有:(1)降低合闸浪涌电流,这点对于低压电容器尤为重要,因为低压电容器多采用金属化膜电容器,该电容器的特点是无感绕制,由于电容器自身电感量极小,没有抗合闸涌流的能力。接入串联电抗器后,能极大地减小合闸时巨大的冲击涌流,保护电容器免遭损害。
(2)限制谐波对电容器的损害,当线路上有谐波存在时,谐波电流叠加在电容器的基波电流上,使电容器电流有效值增大,温升增高,严重时会损坏电容器。
还应该注意到并联电抗器后,在工频频率下,电容器的容抗比系统的感抗大得多,不会产生谐振。但对谐波频率而言,系统感抗大大增加,而容抗大为减小,可能会产生并联谐振或串联谐振,这种谐振会使谐波电流放大几倍甚至数十倍,这对电容器构成很大威胁,为了消除这种危害,在电容器支路中串入电抗器后,谐振频率下降,谐波放大频段的宽度变窄,这对减少谐波电流的放大作用十分有效。
